Martha Elaine Sparks

Martha Elaine Sparks, 81, of Pleasantville, peacefully passed away surrounded by her family Sunday afternoon May 31, 2026 at St. Vincent Hospital in Erie.

Martha was born on August 20, 1944 in Oil City, PA, a daughter of the late Russell and Ruth Moon Sparks.

She was a graduate of Oil City High School, class of 1962. Martha had worked as a school bus aide for the Titusville Area School District. She had also been employed at Miller Fall Protection Co. in Franklin, PA.

Martha had volunteered at the Oil Creek Township Election Board. She was a former member of the Pleasantville Volunteer Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed reading, visiting with friends and family, and snuggling with her grand-dog, Elena.

Martha is survived by her daughter, Tonia Frank and husband Donald, Jr. of Erie; grandchildren, Jamie Frank-Hughes and fiancée Todd Burns of Erie and Donald Frank III and wife Morgan of Greensburg; great grandchildren, Rayvyn Dixon, Kylie Harris-Hughes and Xavier Frank; aunts Peggy Tucci of Venango and Charolette Richardson of Dover, DE; and close friends, Rene and Bob Christie, and Barry and Jackie Watson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ellsworth “Pete” Sparks.
