Mary Alice Bolen

            Mary Alice Bolen, 90, formerly of Pleasantville, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2025 at Royal Oaks Nursing Center in Dade City, Florida.

            Mary was born on March 29, 1935 in Pewee Valley, KY, a daughter of the late James and Virginia Langford Muntz.  She was married to Daniel Bolen on April 9, 1955 in New Albany, IN.  He preceded her in death on March 29, 2003.

            Mary was a former member of the Titusville Senior Center.  She enjoyed traveling and being with her family.

            Mary is survived by her children; Stanley Bolen of Columbia City, IN, Danney Bolen and wife Judy of Port Charlotte, FL, Louise Leverenz and husband Michael of Dunkirk, NY, and Marlene Milligan and husband John of Dade City, FL; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; a brother, Edward Muntz of Hardinsburg, IN; and numerous nieces and nephews.

            In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Norma Jean Bolen; a granddaughter, Kerry Doran  Benson; sisters, Margaret Schoenbachler, Della Frances Muntz, Mary Katherine Muntz and Sue Tyree; and brothers, Carl Muntz, Paul Muntz, James Muntz and Charles Muntz.

            Memorial contributions may be made to any chapter of the American Cancer Society.

            Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home on Saturday, October 4th from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at which time the funeral service will be conducted with Rev. William Hopkins officiating.

            Interment will be in Neilltown Cemetery, Pleasantville, PA.
