Mary R. Snyder

Mary R. Snyder, 83, of Titusville, passed away Sunday afternoon March 19, 2023 at the Titusville Area Hospital.

Mary was born on February 19, 1940 in Erie, PA, a daughter of the late Gerald and Theresa Beatty Ryan.

Mary was a graduate of Fairview High School, class of 1959. She had been employed at Cross Creek Resort for 35 years.

Mary had attended the Enterprise United Methodist Church.

She was a former assistant leader with the 4-H Club. She also enjoyed playing cards.

Mary is survived by her children, Annette Foster of Titusville, Tammy Molnar and husband Jeff of Cochranton; a brother, Thomas “Mike” Ryan of Cranesville; 7 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; a sister, Betty Lou Crosby and husband Allen of Arizona; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her former husband, Fred Snyder; her step-mother, Ruth Ryan; a daughter, Tracy Baker; two grandsons, Timmy Foster and Brandon Thorpe; a brother, Gerald Ryan; and two sisters, Geraldine Finnegan and Edna Abbey.

Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St. Titusville, PA 16354 on Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at which time the funeral service will be conducted with Pastor Penny Helmbold of the Enterprise United Methodist Church, officiating.

Interment will be in Neiltown Cemetery.
