Mary C. “Cathy” Wakefield, 72, of Pleasantville, passed away Saturday afternoon April 6, 2024 at her home.

Cathy was born on October 16, 1951 in Manchester, NH, a daughter of the late Herbert and Mary Paquette Desrosiers. She was married to George J. Wakefield on September 5, 1978 in Spring Valley, CA.

Cathy was a graduate of Madison High School in San Diego, CA.

Cathy had been a volunteer at Love INC in Titusville for several years. She enjoyed traveling with her husband extensively over the years.

Cathy is survived by her husband George of Pleasantville; a daughter, Tracy Tanner of Marietta, GA; two grandchildren, Tyler McCain and wife Yini and Ashlyn McCain, all of Atlanta, GA; and several brothers and sisters.

No public visitation or service will be observed.
