Mary Ellen Armstrong, 82, of Titusville, passed away early Friday morning, January 19, 2024, at her residence from an extended illness.
Mary Ellen was born on February 26, 1941, in Titusville to the late Merle and Mary Ellen "Ella" Hall Reynolds.
She attended Townville High School.
Mary Ellen worked GTE Sylvania, then later as a milk tester for DHIA, she was also a cook in several local restaurants.
She enjoyed playing bingo, crocheting, sewing, solving crossword puzzles, watching Steelers football, and spending time with her great grandchildren.
Mary Ellen is survived by her three daughters, Lorraine Burrows and husband Duane of Titusville, Robin Edwards and husband Terry of Centerville, and Traci Connnolly of Erie; five grandchildren, Tara (Steve) Spangler, Joshua (Renea) Burrows, Amanda (Josh) Lynch, Lee (Krista) Anthony, Ezra (Crissy) McWilliams; 16 great grandchildren; a sister Merleen Steele; and a brother Harold (Margaret) Reynolds; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Roger and Benjamin Reynolds; and a son-in-law, Sean Connolly.
No public calling hours will be observed. A private celebration will be held at a later date.
Interment will be at East Troy Cemetery.
