Maryann Daniel, 75, of Titusville, passed away Wednesday April 15, 2026 at UPMC Mercy in Pittsburgh.
Maryann was born on November 7, 1950 in Pittsburgh, PA, a daughter of the late Frank and Rosemary Gailliot Furrer.
Maryann had attended St. Kieran Elementary School and was a graduate of St. John the Baptist High School, class of 1968, in Lawrenceville, PA.
She had worked for the Titusville Area School District as a day care provider at the ECLC. She was also a foster parent for over 19 years, opening up her home for many foster children. She was also a local driver for the amish community.
Maryann was a member of St. Titus Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed short trips with her family and friends. She was always there to provide help to anyone in need.
She is survived by her children, Tina Wright and husband Steve of Titusville, Mark Daniel and wife Toni of Edinboro, and Kevin Daniel and wife Christine of Greensburg; her grandchildren, Samuel and Emma Wright, Aiden and Christian Daniel, Wes and Anna Daniel, Alexa and Nathan Pechulis; brothers, Al Furrer of Pittsburgh and Robert "Bert" Collins and daughter Taylor Collins, of Pittsburgh; a brother-in-law, Merle Watson of Weston, WV; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, Patty Thorne, Sarah Byler, Brenda Cancilla, Cindee Zisner, Marlene Redmond and Rhonda Montgomery.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Hannah Wright; a brother, Frank Furrer; a sister, Kathy Watson; and a sister-in-law, Debbie Furrer.
Family and friends may attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, April 20, 2026 at 11:00 AM at St. Titus Church with Fr. Daniel Hofmann as celebrant.
Private interment will be in St. Catharines Cemetery.
