Michael Todd Baker, 63, of Oil City, passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2025, surrounded by his family and loved ones at UPMC Hamot in Erie.
Michael was born to Sheldon and Amy Southwick Baker in Titusville on March 15, 1961.
He attended Youngsville Schools.
He was a veteran, having served in the National Guard.
Michael worked in the oil fields all his life.
He enjoyed fishing and being with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Michael is survived by his fiancé, Vicki Jackson of Oil City; his mother, Amy Baker of Erie; four children; a grandson Deven Baker of Warren; his other grandchildren; a sister, Teresa Shamburg and husband Chip of Erie; brothers, Eugene Baker of Cambridge Springs, Randy Baker of Pittsfield, Duane Baker and wife Katie of Merritt, NC, and Lawrance Baker and companion Amy Burt of Pittsfield; those he considered his family, Lisa Jackson of Titusville and her children, Jared, Destiney, and Alivia, Ashley White and husband Spensyar of Oil City and their children, Auderlynn, and Barrick.
He was preceded in death by his father, Sheldon Baker; his first wife, Tracy Snyder Baker; a brother, Paul Baker; a sister-in-law, Katie Baker; and a foster brother, Leonard Hetrick.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Interment will be at East Troy Cemetery.
