Nancy J. Moose

Nancy J. Moose, 82, of Titusville, passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at the Titusville Area Hospital.

Nancy was born on October 21, 1941, in Titusville, a daughter of the late Homer and Geraldine Baney Staub. She married Donald Moose on October 17, 1998. He preceded her in death on June 2, 2011.

She was a graduate of Titusville High School, Class of 1959.

She had been employed in her earlier years at Fishers Big Wheel, and Bergstrom Heating. She was also a part owner of Buells Corners Store for five years and worked for Moose Trucking until her retirement in 2011.

Nancy enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening and farming. But most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also loved her animals, especially her dog Peanut.

She is survived by her children, James Bergstrom Jr. of Titusville, Vicki Kemp and husband Clark of Titusville; 3 grandchildren, Charity Brown and husband Joseph Jr. of Oil City, Kim Brockway and husband Matt of Titusville, and Alisha Holmes and husband Jimmy of Belleview, FL; 9 great grandchildren, Gracie Brown, Noah Brown, Josie Brown, Kristen Thomas, Lexy Thomas, Linzy Thomas, Hunter Young, Elena Holmes and Piper Holmes; a brother, Roger Staub of Titusville; a sister, Debra Beers and husband Ward of Titusville; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Linda Weaver and her brother Daniel Staub.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 10, 2024, at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home Inc. 303 N. Washington St. Titusville, PA 16354, from 11 to noon, the funeral service will follow with Pastor Jeff Sterling officiating.

Interment will be at Breedtown Cemetery.
