Norma J. McWilliams, 90, of Centerville, passed away on September 11, 2024, at her residence with her family by her side.
Norma was born on April 13, 1934, in Waverly, WV, a daughter of the late Lewis and Clara Knost Harness. She married Ford Chrispen on July 23, 1955, in Titusville. He preceded her in death on September 23, 1994. She married George McWilliams on May 21, 1994. He preceded her in death on April 5, 2015.
She was a graduate of Millcreek High School, Class of 1953.
She worked as a waitress for over 40 years, working at numerous places including McBernies, Marian and Faye's and Gilby's Restaurant.
Norma enjoyed taking trips to the beach, gardening, going to farmers markets and baking her delicious pies. Most of all she enjoyed being around her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons, Ronald Chrispen and wife Faith of New Brighton, PA, Randall Chrispen and wife Tacey of Titusville, FL; her daughters, Sheila Rogers and husband James of Hornbeck, LA, Cheryl Bennett and husband Douglas of Verona, VA, Lisa Guthrie and husband Glenn of Waynesboro, VA; her step sons, Darrell McWilliams and wife Brandi of Corry, Clay McWilliams and wife Tanya of Jamestown, NY, Dane Rawlins and wife Sally of London, UK; her sisters, Virginia Binisk and husband Gerald of Corry, Betty Anderson of Titusville, Lillian Clabbetts of Erie, Kay Beals and husband Dave of Waterford; 15 grandchildren, Lisa Clark, Jonathon Bennett, Alicia Clifton, Micheal Clifton, Austin Stump, Shelby Kinney- Cryer, Shana Welch, Thomas Gilson, Carrissa McDonald, Ryan Chrispen, Shawn Chrispen, Aundrea Shriver, Nicole Chrispen, Isabella Chrispen, Theodore Chrispen; 54 great grandchildren; 10 step grandchildren, Ryan, Keeley, Makenzi and Ezra McWilliams, Izaya and Codie Brightman, Nikkita Peterson, Brooke, Joesi and Logan Sweet.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother Gerald Harness; her granddaughter, Stephanie Kinney; two brother-in- laws, Howard Clabbatz and Fred Anderson; and a sister-in-law, Ann Harness.
The family will receive friends at the Titusville Church of Christ, 221 West Main St, Titusville, PA 16354, on Saturday September 14, from 11 AM to Noon. A funeral service will follow with Jim Moore officiating.
Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.
