Patricia Marietti Obituary
Patricia "Patty" Marietti, 82, of Tidioute, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, October 17, 2024, with her family by her side.
Patty was born on August 28, 1942, in Steubenville, OH. She is the daughter of the late Floyd and Ina Vanscoy Tingler. Also Preceding her in death are her sisters Delores O'Hara and Cheryl Loy, and her three brothers, Guy Brady, Robert Tingler and Ronald Tingler.
Patricia had a heart of Gold. She loved spending time with her children, nieces, nephews and cousins. She also enjoyed being around all the neighborhood children, many returned to see her when they were grown. She loved her pet Labrador Retrievers, Sam, Red, Blue, and Sunny. She devoted her life to her family and friends.
She worked as a waitress for a number of years in the Steubenville area.
Patty enjoyed listening to old music, jigsaw puzzles, and being around children.
She is survived by her husband Gary Marietti of 42 years; her son, Frank Gaudio and wife Cheryl of Colliers, WV; her daughters, Mary Ann Mathers of Weirton, PA, Theresa McClain of Oakmont, PA, Kathy Jo Starr and husband Greg of Follansbee, WV, Charolette Mango and husband Nick of Allison Park; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, brothers and sisters, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, John T. McClain; and brothers-in-laws, Patrick O'Hara and John Loy.
No public services will be observed.
