Patricia L. Wakefield, 90, of Titusville, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2025 at Oakwood Heights Village in Oil City following an extended illness.
Patricia was born on April 11, 1935, in Titusville to the late William F. and Josephine Lane Tuck.
She attended Titusville schools and was a graduate of Titusville High School, Class of 1953.
She married Richard L. "Dick" Wakefield on January 3, 1955. He preceded her in death on August 10, 1995.
She was a member of St. Walburga Church, where she sang in the choir, a past President of the Capt. R. L. Green Marine Corps League Auxiliary, board member of the Salvation Army in Titusville, Second Vice Lioness of the Titusville Lioness Club, treasurer of the Friendship Club at the Billie Brown Building, member of many bowling leagues, and she was involved with Love INC. Pat also planned and hosted many events to benefit local and national causes and several Titusville High School class reunions.
She is survived by four children, Richard J. Wakefield and wife, Dianna, of Titusville, Craig A. Wakefield and wife, Lori, of Warrenton, VA, Bonnie J. Evans and husband, Roger, of Titusville, and Jeffrey L. Wakefield and wife, Debra, of Phillipsburg, PA; grandchildren, Jeremy (Deanna) Wakefield of Titusville, Jonelle (John) Tartara of Mechanicsburg, April (Mark) Morrison of Culpeper, VA, Paige (Richard) Bachelor of Raeford, NC, Lindi (Chris) Martin of Culpeper, VA, Elyse (William) Welsh of Sharpsburg, PA, Tanner (Marissa) Evans of Pleasantville, Taryn (Robert) Alt of Titusville, Kenneth Wright and wife Lindsey of Boston, MA, Ashley Philbin and Daniel Watson of Las Vegas, NV; 23 great grandchildren; and numerous beloved nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her infant son, Scott E. Wakefield, her infant granddaughter, Lacy L. Evans; her siblings William F. Tuck, Jr., Catherine Bennett, Vivian Smith, Rita Bruner, Frances Bennett, Jane Elder, and Alma Mayfield.
Family and friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home Inc., 303 N. Washington St., Titusville, PA 16354 on Wednesday, July 23, from 11 AM to 1 PM. A funeral service will follow with Father Daniel Hoffman officiating.
Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.
