Patrick Brown Obituary

Patrick James Brown, 82, of Titusville, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Wednesday, July 1, 2026, following a brief illness.

Patrick was born on June 15, 1944, in Titusville, Pennsylvania, to the late Alfred and Viola Brown. He was one of eight children and was preceded in death by his siblings: Isabelle Brown, Jack Brown, Terri Brown, Janice Wilson, Mary Guntrum, Kathleen Reynolds, and Richard Brown.

He was a graduate of Titusville High School, class of 1963.  On October 24, 1964, Patrick married the love of his life, Patricia (Foote) Brown, in Winchester, Virginia. Together they shared 61 wonderful years of marriage, building a life centered around love, family, and dedication to one another. Their bond was a testament to commitment, kindness, and the strength of a lifelong partnership.

Patrick was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Patricia; his children, Scott Brown and his wife Lori, and Julie Cauvel and her husband Dan; his grandchildren, Tyler Cauvel, Stephanie Stewart and her husband JT, and Kegan Brown and his wife Kristen; and his great-grandchildren, Ezra Stewart and Ella Stewart.

Those who knew Patrick will remember him as a hardworking man who was always on the move. He believed in staying busy, helping others, and taking pride in a job well done. Whether he was working with his hands, solving a problem, or taking on a new project, Patrick could always be found doing something productive. His strong work ethic and determination were qualities admired by everyone who knew him.

Throughout his career, Patrick dedicated himself to many roles and industries. He served as a supervisor at Cytemp, a maintenance supervisor at The Titusville Opportunity Park, a machinist at CPT, a foreman at Oil Well, a part-time employee at the Titusville School District, as well as many others. No matter the position, Patrick brought the same dedication, reliability, and pride to everything he did.

Beyond his work, Patrick’s greatest accomplishment was the family he built. He loved his family deeply and took great pride in watching his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren grow. He also shared a special bond with his beloved dog, Snickers, and was a true lover of all dogs. His guidance, generosity, and steady presence will continue to live on through the many lives he touched.

Patrick will be remembered as a loving family man, a faithful husband, a caring father, and a grandfather whose love and hard work created lasting memories for generations to come. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

The family would like to thank everyone who offered love, support, and kindness during Patrick’s illness and final days.
