Paula J Vandervort

Paula J. Vandervort, 69, of Titusville, passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at Southwoods Assisted Living.

Paula was born in Titusville on July 14, 1955, to the late Paul J. and Helen Burrows Vandervort.
She was a graduate of Townville High School, Class of 1973.

She was a nanny for many years for several families in Titusville. Paula dedicated 33 years to the Titusville Herald, where she greatly enjoyed her work in the mailing room. She also worked at Southwoods Assisted Living as a resident assistant for 23 years.

She loved cooking and baking, was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, and enjoyed being with her family and friends. She was dedicated and a hard worker in everything she did.

Paula is survived by her siblings, Craig A. Vandervort and wife Debbie of Corry, Scott "Joe" Vandervort and wife Tanya of Titusville, Linda Tilford and husband Todd of Corry, and Mark Vandervort and wife Kim of Pleasantville; several nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her companion, Thomas Beals, and an infant brother, Paul J. Vandervort Jr. and an infant sister.

Visitation will be held at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home Inc. 303 N. Washington St. Titusville, on Sunday, November 10th, from 2 to 4 p.m. at which time a funeral service will be conducted.

Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
