Perry Lynn Book

Perry Lynn Book, 61, of Titusville passed away on Tuesday, February 3rd, 2026.

Born April 21st, 1964, he was the son of the late Alfred and Meredith (Teed) Book.

Perry spent many years working at Spartywood Products and transitioned to working as a chef at Cross Creek Resort, a job that he truly enjoyed, until his passing.

He found joy in working with his hands, spending time with his family and pets (especially his dog Cruiser), performing kind acts for family and friends in the community, and cooking at work.

Perry married Connie McCormick when they were both very young. Years after his separation with Connie, Perry enjoyed the company of his companion Jessica Smith.

Left to cherish his memory is his brother, Kerry Book of Guys Mills; his children, Marie Book, Jossette (Book) Dinsmore and husband James Dinsmore, Dakota Book and wife Amber Book; and his 4 grandchildren. Perry will also be deeply missed by his sister-in-law, Pamela Book.

In addition to his parents, Perry is preceded in death by his daughter Laura J. Book, brother Terry Book of Titusville, and beloved mother-in-law through his brother, Ruth Millard.

In keeping with the family's wishes, there will be a private celebration of life at a later date.
