Raymond L. Kinnear, Jr., 81, of Grand Valley passed away Thursday April 24, 2025 at his residence surrounded by his family.
Ray was born on March 24, 1944 in Titusville, PA, a son of the late Raymond and Violet Ross Kinnear. He was married to Sandra Watson on November 1, 1969 in Endeavor, PA.
Ray was a graduate of Colestock High School, class of 1963. He had been employed at the former Cytemp Specialty Steel Corp. until it’s closing. He then was employed at the former Joy Manufacturing in Franklin for a number of years until his retirement in 2008. Following his retirement, he drove the Amish for a number of years.
Ray was an avid fabricator, tinkerer, and could fix almost anything. And it was usually “Ray’s Way” when things needed to get done!
Ray is survived by his wife of Grand Valley; his children, Jeffrey Ray Kinnear of Tryonville, Steven Michael Kinnear and companion Lois Daley of Union City, and Mindy McFetridge of Grand Valley; six grandchildren, Gavin, Stevie, Kade and Patience Kinnear, Jack Kirik and Josephine McFetridge; four great grandchildren, Roxy, Cyrus, Delaney and Giovanni; a sister, Linda Pyle and husband Jerry of Youngsville; four brothers, Daniel Kinnear and wife Barb, and Randall Kinnear, all of Grand Valley, Carl Kinnear and wife Jill of Neilltown, and Eric Kinnear of Pleasantville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, David, Richard and Russell Kinnear; and an infant sister, Helen Marie Kinnear.
Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St. Titusville, PA 16354 on Tuesday, April 29th from noon to 2:00 PM at which time the funeral service will be conducted by Rev. Gary Kinnear.
Interment will be in Union Cemetery.
