Rhita J. Seeley, 86, of Pleasantville, passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024, at the Titusville Healthcare and Rehab Center surrounded by family.
Rhita was born on March 2, 1937, in Claude, TX, to the late Alton and Leota Weaver Thomas. She married Robert W. Seeley on September 1, 1955, in Clovis, NM. He preceded her in death on October 29, 2020.
She was a graduate of Claude High School in Texas.
Rhita was a member of the Titusville T-Free Church, the Pleasantville Vol. Fire Dept. Auxiliary, Pleasantville Lioness Club TOPS, and New London Grange. She also served as Salvation Army Chairperson.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed traveling and spending time with her grandchildren.
Rhita is survived by her five children, children, Jeffrey Seeley of Redding, CA, Pam Seeley-Anderson and husband Mark of Titusville, Kimberly Coates and husband Paul of Ferndale, CA, Kenneth Seeley of Meadville, Mark Seeley and wife Marsha of Titusville; 13 grandchildren, Michael Schneider of Pittsburgh, Megan (Tracy) Antonio of Las Vegas, NV, Jessica (Matthew) Rink of Ava, MO, Dianne (Craig) Foster of Redding, CA, Suzanne Seeley and boyfriend David of Vacaville, CA, Jason Coates of Chico, CA, Shasta (Ray) Fernandes of Caldwell, ID, Shannon (Morgan) Cruz of Ferndale, CA, Nicholas Coates of Ferndale, CA, Sarah Seeley and fiancé John of Saegertown, Samantha Seeley of Erie, PA, Sabrina (Nick) Gabriel of Conneaut Lake, Miranda (Dillion) Patterson of Chapmanville, PA; 17 great and great-great grandchildren, Kevin, Stephanie, Chance, Courtney, Joseph, Rylee, Wyatt, Ezra, Bane, Renee, Tessa, Mikayla, Brooklyn, Jameson, Hylee and Aaron, Braxton; and numerous nieces, nephews and brothers and sisters-in-law, and special friends Belinda and Sherry.
She was preceded in death by both brothers, Jim and Tom Thomas.
Service will be private to the family.
Interment will be at Jerusalem Corners Cemetery.
