Rickey L. Richards

Rickey L. Richards, 43, of Grand Valley passed away on Friday, morning August 5, 2022.
   Rickey was born on May 29, 1979, in Titusville to Jacquelyn (Oakes) Murphy and the late Rickey M. Richards.
   He enjoyed working in the woods and started his own company Fellingtek Forestry which he ran for several years. He was currently working with his brother Jacob logging and farming.
   Rickey loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter. He was a tremendous freehand drawer of nature and made carvings with his chainsaw. He also enjoyed a good prank or joke with family and friends.
   He is survived by his 2 children, Shane Richards and wife Samantha of Titusville, Nathaniel Richards of Grand Valley; his mom and step-father, Jackie and Fred Murphy of Grand Valley; 2 brothers, Jacob Richards and companion, Savannah Dalehousen of Grand Valley, Billy Richards of Titusville; a nephew, Jacob Karl Richards of Grand Valley; his companion, Jody Schmader of Pleasantville; former wife, Ashley Peters of Woodcock; and numerous, aunts, uncles and cousins.
   A celebration of Rickey's life will be held at a date to be announced.
