Robert E. Walters, 82, of Titusville, passed away Saturday morning November 5, 2022 at the Titusville Area Hospital.
Bob was born on December 30, 1939 in Titusville, a son of the late Eugene and Bernice Barlog Walters. He was married to Katheryn White on January 3, 1961 in Titusville.
Bob had attended the Titusville schools. He was a veteran having served as a signalman in the US Navy.
Bob had been employed for a number of years at the former Cytemp Specialty Steel Corp. until it’s closing. In 2002 he opened “Quick Cuts”, his barber business in town, which he operated until his recently declining health forced him to close.
Bob was a member of the Bruce Shorts Post 5958 VFW. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with his family.
Bob is survived by his wife Katheryn of Titusville; a daughter, Tina Schweitzer and companion Lee Acton of Titusville; a granddaughter, Gracie Schweitzer; a sister, Cynthia Schwab of Kansas; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by a daughter, Jamie Lynn Walters; and several brothers and sisters.
No public services will be conducted.
The family asks that memorials be made to any chapter of the Humane Society.
