Robert P. Wescoat, 69, of 227 Water St. (Billie Brown Building) passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2023, at his residence.
Robert was born on February 26, 1954, in Titusville to Beverly (Nellis) McGinnett and the late Henry L. "Hank" Wescoat. He married Debra S. Hoban on June 10, 1978, at St. Walburga Church. She preceded him in death on January 7, 2009.
He was a graduate of Titusville High School, class of 1972.
Robert worked as an overhead crane operator for Erie Press Systems.
He was a member of the Cleo J Ross Post 368 American Legion, a former member of the PNA and NWTF (National Wild Turkey Federation) Meadville Chapter of the Northwest Thundering Toms.
Robert loved the outdoors hunting and fishing as well as playing softball in Hydetown and umpiring games.
He is survived by his mother Beverly McGinnett of Edinboro; 2 children, Jennifer Wilks of Meadville, Jeremy Wescoat and wife Amanda of Pittsburgh; 2 grandsons, Trystan James McCord and Aiden Nicholas McCord both of Meadville; and a brother, Henry "Hank" Wescoat.
No services are being observed.
Interment will be in Diamond Cemetery.
