Rodney W. Westfall, 54, of Hollywood, Florida, passed away Wednesday evening January 8, 2025 while at his second home in Titusville.
Rodney was born on January 27, 1970 in Titusville, a son of the late James and Ida Preston Deeter. He was accompanied by his companion of 37 years, Robert Leadbetter, at the time of his death.
Rodney had been employed for over 30 years as a bus technician by the Miami-Dade Transit Authority.
Rodney was a member of the Sunshine Cathedral in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He was a certified apiary in Florida and enjoyed tending to his own bees. Rodney enjoyed collecting old coins and guns; restoring his own classic cars; traveling in the RV and spending his summers with Bob at their Titusville home.
In addition to his companion Bob, he is survived by a step-son, Eugene Whitton of Hollywood, FL; a step-granddaughter, Amber Whitton; his twin brother, Randy Westfall and wife Kay of Sprague, WA; sisters, Tina Thompson and husband Tim of Jefferson, OH, Kim Renae Nightingale and husband Ron of Trinity, TX, and Billie Jo Voss and husband Charles of Lakeland, FL; numerous nieces, nephews, and several cousins which includes Chuck Walter of Titusville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a step-grandson, Nicholas Whitton.
Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St. Titusville, PA 16354 on Monday, January 13th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM and attend the funeral service there on Tuesday, January 14th at 11:00 AM.
Interment will be in Grove Hill Cemetery in Oil City, PA.
