Roger Harroun Obituary

Roger D. Harroun, 87, formerly of Grand Valley, passed away on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at the Titusville Healthcare and Rehab Center.

Roger was born in Olean, NY, on February 11, 1938, to the late Dale A. "Spike" and Charlotte Graham Harroun. He married Barbara J. Peterson on April 14, 1962, in Pleasantville. She preceded him in death on March 26, 2019.

Roger attended Youngsville High School and was a veteran serving in the United States Marine Corps.

He worked as a machinist for McInnes Steel in Corry until his retirement.

Roger was a Bruce Shorts Post 5958 VFW member and Cleo J. Ross Post 368 American Legion.


Roger enjoyed camping, fishing in Pennsylvania and South Carolina, and being with his family and friends.

He is survived by a daughter, Michelle Humphrey and companion Tim Casey of Warren; two sons, Jerry Harroun and wife Melissa of Titusville, and Larry Harroun and companion Debbie Upton of Grand Valley; five grandchildren, Kevin Harroun and wife Alison of Edinboro, Kasey Harroun and companion Sarah Sinclair of Virginia Beach, VA, Tanner Humphrey and wife Paige of Youngsville, Emberly Mietus and Jill Kinnear both of Grand Valley; great grandchildren, Saul, Sam, Toby, Gabe, and Aurora Harroun, Ryan, Devon, and Addy Kinnear, and Jude Humphrey; and several nieces and nephews.

Roger was preceded in death by his brother, Raymond L. Harroun.

No services are being observed at this time.

Memorial contributions can be made to ASERCARE Hospice.

The family would like to thank the Titusville Healthcare and Rehab staff and the nurses with ASERCARE Hospice for the care and dedication shown to Roger.
