Ronald L. Peterson, 74, of Titusville, passed away Friday evening August 8, 2025 at the Titusville Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.
Ron was born on October 3, 1950 in Titusville, a son of the late Axel B. “Mix” Peterson and Mary Elizabeth “Betty” Baker Peterson.
Ron was a graduate of Pleasantville High School, class of 1968. He was employed in the grocery business in his early years working as an assistant manager at the Rocky Grove Country Fair and as a manager at the Franklin Country Fair. He later worked for the Kroger grocery chain. He finished his working career operating Classic Painting, his house painting business from where he retired.
Ron enjoyed gardening and landscaping, and tending to his flower gardens. He also enjoyed hunting and the outdoors. He was an avid sports fan of the Penn State Nittany Lions, and the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates.
Ron is survived by two brothers, John Peterson and wife Saundra, and Bruce Peterson, all of Pleasantville; a sister-in-law, Patricia Peterson of Pleasantville; two nephews, Craig Peterson and wife Veronica and Rick Peterson, all of Pleasantville; and a niece, Beth Foley of Canadohta Lake.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Norman Peterson.
Friends are invited to a celebration of Ron’s life on Saturday, August 16th at the Shamburg Christian Church of God 15995 Rouseville Rd. Pleasantville, PA 16341 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM.
