Ronald K. Ziegler

Ronald K. Ziegler, 93, of Tidioute, passed away Tuesday morning September 9, 2025 at his residence.

Ron was born on July 23, 1932 in Allegheny County, PA, a son of the late Kenneth and Anna Margaret Ehman Ziegler. He was married to Nancy Lewis in Pittsburgh in November of 1951.

Ron had been employed at J&L Steel in Pittsburgh from where he retired. Following retirement, Ron and Nancy moved to their current home near West Hickory where they enjoyed the peace and solitude of their home.

He was a member of St. John's Church in Tidioute. He was an avid hunter as well as enjoying fishing and the outdoors.

In addition to his wife Nancy, Ron is survived by the following children, Jacqueline Lang of Tidioute, Rhonda Salopek and husband Anthony of Pleasantville, Susan McClintock, Bruce Ziegler and wife Stephanie, Robin Ziegler, Amy Yule and husband Doug, and Paula Bevan, all of Pittsburgh; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; a sister, Margaret Koffler of Pittsburgh; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Allen Ziegler; and two brothers, Jack and Kenneth Ziegler.

No public services will be observed.
