Roseanna L. Willey

Roseanna L. “Rose” Willey, 76, of Titusville, passed away Thursday, December 21, 2023 at her home following an extended illness.

Rose was born on June 16, 1947 in Titusville, a daughter of the late Alfred and Mary Killmeyer Vroman. She was married to Earl B. Willey on June 4, 1958 at St. Titus Church in Titusville.

Rose was a graduate of St. Joseph Academy, class of 1965.

She had worked at the Titusville Area Hospital in the kitchen for a number of years until her retirement from there. She had also been previously employed as a case worker for Active Aging.

Rose was a member of St. Titus Church where she had taught CCD classes. She was treasurer for the Vroman Excelsior Cemetery. She was an avid reader, an excellent cook, and loved her gardening. She loved all her animals including her cats and dogs.

Roseanna is survived by her husband Earl of Titusville; the following children, Theresa Casale and husband Dominic of Newman, GA, Earl G. Willey and wife Elizabeth of West Middlesex, PA, Christine Willey of Krum, TX, Kathleen Riggs and husband Michael of Harrisburg, Illinois, and Lisa Harrington and husband Michael of Centerville; 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; a brother, Richard “Rick” Vroman and wife Sandy of Titusville; a sister, Mary Longiotti and husband Frank of Titusville; sisters-in-law, Carol Lewis and husband Barney of Titusville and Donna Linnon and husband Ron of Virginia; a brother-in-law, Brian Willey and wife Diane of Titusville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Vroman.

No public calling hours will be observed.

Family and friends may attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, December 27th at St. Titus Church with Fr. Christopher Barnes as celebrant.
