Roy D. Aikens, 90, of West Hickory, passed away on July 2, 2026, at the Titusville Area Hospital.
Roy was born on August 17, 1935, in Edmon in Armstrong County, PA, a son of the late Walter R. and Belma Pierce Aikens.
He was a graduate of Bell Avon High School in Salina, PA, Class of 1954.
He was a veteran serving in the United States Army.
Roy worked at Stapla Ultrasonics Corporation for many years as a manufacturing engineer.
Roy enjoyed wood working and creating new projects with his hands.
He is survived by his daughter, Michelle Schimp and husband Brian of Fayettville, NC; his grandchildren, Josephine and Nicolette Schimp; and one great grandson, James; and his sister Naomi Altman and husband John of Trunkyville, PA.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son James Aikens.
No public services will be observed at this time.
