Samuel Sampson Obituary

Samuel James Sampson, 19, of Titusville, passed away at his residence on Monday, November 4, 2024.

Sam was born in Titusville on July 22, 2005, to Kris Sampson and Jennifer Wakefield.
He was a graduate of Titusville High School, Class of 2023.

Sam was currently employed at Oil Creek Plastics.

Samuel loved anything fast and loud; cars, motorcycles or music. He was especially proud of his matching turquoise Mustang and Hayabusa. He enjoyed skiing, snowboarding, golfing, going to concerts, getting tattoos, and spending time with friends and family. He was a lifelong Bengals fan and said the happiest day of his life was when they went to the Super Bowl in 2022.

Sam is survived by his father, Kris Sampson; his mother and step-father Jennifer and Joel Kerr; his sister Kali Sampson; his brother Joshua Sampson; paternal grandfather, John Sampson and wife Shelly, and paternal grandmother Kathy Feroz and husband Ron; maternal grandmother Debbie Wakefield, and maternal grandfather Ted Wakefield and wife Gail; maternal step-grandparents Rusty and Evelyn Kerr; paternal great grandfather Fred Sampson; maternal great grandmother Violet Hoffman;

Paternal aunts and uncles Todd and April Sampson, Uriah and Jacqui Sampson, Mandy and Joe Ralston, Ronnie Feroz, and Katie and Brian Potts. Maternal aunts and uncles Leigh and Hayes Weidman, Stacy and Tom Musgrave, Kaleena Barker, Ted Wakefield, Jr., and Dot Barker. Cousin and best friend Tyler Van Epps and close friend Zaden Dale. As well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.

He was preceded in death by paternal great-grandmother Gert Sampson, maternal great-grandfather Jack Hoffman, and uncle TJ Barker.

Visitation will be held at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home Inc. 303 N. Washington St. on Friday, from 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted from the funeral home on Saturday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Tom Barnard, officiating.

In keeping with Sam's generous spirit and kind heart, we know he would want memorial contributions to the Titusville Associated Charities Kids Christmas Fund 409 E. Central Ave. Titusville, PA 16354
