Sandra L (Lown) Hanson

Sandra L. Hanson, 86, of Titusville, P.A, passed away on Monday, March 24, 2025, at Southwoods Assisted Living Community.

Sandra was born on September 8, 1938, in Richmondville, NY, to the late Franklin J. and Mildred DeCater Lown. She married Donald R. Hanson in October 1957. He preceded her in death on August 25, 1995.

She was a graduate of Schoharie High School in New York State.

Sandra enjoyed a 25-year career at IBM in East Fishkill, N.Y.

She attended Life Springs Worship Center in Titusville.

Sandra loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, more than anything else. Her lifestyle of praise and worship will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all that knew and loved her. She enjoyed being active in church activities, bible studies, ladies groups, and all things pertaining to sharing the Love of Christ.

She is survived by her son, Don Hanson of Titusville; son-in-law, Steven Champion of Titusville; her grandchildren, Sarah Ritter, Caleb Champion, Hannah Lewis, Faith Shehade, Grace Champion, Amilia Hanson, Daniella Sandra Hanson, and Max Hanson; and a sister, Linda Lown of Schoharie, NY.

Sandra was preceded in death by her daughter, Tamara Champion.

A memorial service will be held in the near future.
