Sandra Lynn (Cole) Jackson

Sandra L. "Sandi" Cole Jackson, 79, formerly of Titusville, passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at UPMC Hamot after an extended illness.

Sandi was born in Titusville on July 27, 1945, to the late Harold A. and Ethel I. Stafford Cole.

She was a graduate of Titusville High School, Class of 1963, where she was voted Best Dancer. She attended Maryland Medical Secretarial School in Hagerstown, MD.

Before retiring due to her MS diagnosis, Sandi was a medical secretary in various doctors' offices in Titusville, including Dr. James Zehner.

She had a strong faith in her Lord and was a member of the Pleasantville Methodist Church.

Sandi enjoyed gardening and dancing in her younger years and was active in the Titusville Senior Center. She loved sewing and crocheting and never met a stranger. Her trusting nature and warm smile lit up every room. She cherished spending time with her family.

When she was in better health, she actively participated in Relay for Life, having survived breast cancer for over 10 years.

She is survived by her son, Eric R. Jackson, Sr. and wife Lisa of Pleasantville; two grandchildren Nicole Jackson and fiancé Michael McLaren of Sharpsville, and Eric Jackson, Jr. of Pleasantville; her siblings, Max Cole and wife Gloria of Alchua, FL, and Sindi Averill and husband Bob of Neiltown; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jim Cole, and his wife, Patty.
Visitation will be held at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home Inc. 303 N. Washington St. Titusville on Saturday, May 10th from 10:30 a.m. to noon at which time a funeral service will be conducted with retired minister, Sam Wagner, officiating.
