Obituary
Scott D. Peterson, 49, of Pleasantville, passed away Sunday April 30, 2023 at UPMC Shadyside in Pittsburgh.
Scott was born on March 11, 1974 in Titusville, a son of Frances Hills Peterson and the late Robert E. Peterson. He was married to Diana Ohl in August of 2017.
Scott had attended Titusville High School. He had been employed at the Titusville Walmart. Scott enjoyed fishing, watching sports including NASCAR and NFL football. He loved the outdoors and doing yard work.
Scott is survived by his mother Frances Peterson of Titusville; his wife Diana of Pleasantville; a sister, Debbie Millard and husband Doug of Titusville; three brothers, David Peterson and wife Kim of Pleasantville, Rick Peterson and wife Laura of Titusville, and Rob Peterson and wife Julie of Centerville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, Scott was preceded in death by a brother, Steven Peterson; a nephew, Michael Peterson; and a great nephew, Michael Byers.
Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St. Titusville, PA 16354 on Thursday from 6 to 8 PM and on Friday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at which time the funeral service will be conducted with Pastor Shawn Jacobson of the Pleasantville Community Church officiating.
Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery in Pleasantville.
The family asks that contributions be made to the funeral home for funeral expenses.
