Sharleen Caton Obituary
Sharleen A. Caton, 89, of Titusville, passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2024, at Country Acres Personal Care Home.
She was born in Titusville on October 17, 1934, a daughter of the late Frank and Madeleine Wilson Daley. She married Edward Caton Jr. on July 7, 1955. He preceded her in death on November 15, 1975.
She was a graduate of Pleasantville High School, Class of 1953.
She enjoyed bird watching, playing computer games, and going on car rides during the Fall to see all the beautiful leaves. She had a love for all animals and enjoyed watching them out in nature. Most of all she enjoyed being with her grandchildren, who referred to her as Amma.
She is survived by children; Edwin Caton and wife Mary Ann of Pleasantville, Michael Caton and wife Sandi of Yorktown VA, and her daughter Julie Caton of Titusville; 4 grandchildren, Angela Abousamra and husband Ahmed of Hillsboro OR, Tammy Rodgers and husband Kevin of Centerville, Shannon Loch and husband Jeremy of Geneva PA, and Carlie Caton and wife Tara of Douglasville GA; 3 great grandchildren, Ian Loch, Amelia Loch and Aaliyah Abousamra; her sister in law and best friend, Shirley Daley; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Charles Frank Caton; and her two brothers Larry "Bud" Daley, Donald Daley and his wife Jean Daley.
No public visitation will be observed. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery in Pleasantville.
