Shawn D. Harger

Shawn D. Harger, 56, of Greenville, formerly of Centerville, passed away Friday morning May 17, 2024 at UPMC Horizon in Greenville, PA.

Shawn was born on August 26, 1967 in Oil City, PA, a son of the late Gerald and Barbara Marvin Harger. Shawn was formerly married to April Lorenz.

Shawn was a graduate of Titusville High School, class of 1985. He had been employed at Penn Sylvan Inc. for 12 years.

Shawn enjoyed riding his motorcycle as well as driving his Mustang. He also enjoyed watching dirt track racing and collecting Star Trek paraphernalia.

Shawn is survived by his children, Levi Lorenz and wife Johnna of Titusville and Lauren Hanson and husband Kyle of Little Cooley; grandchildren, Scarlett, Paige and Caroline Lorenz, and Marlan Hanson; a sister, Rhonda Harger of Titusville; two brothers, Gary Harger and companion Janet Waddell, and Tim Harger and wife Cindy, all of Centerville; and numerous nieces and nephews. No public visitation will be observed.

A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
