Shirley Snyder Obituary
Shirley W. Snyder, 76, of Titusville, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025, at the Titusville Area Hospital following an extended illness.
Shirley was born on February 2, 1949, in Titusville, the daughter of the late Merle and Margaret Kelly Weaver. She married Merle D. "Sonny" Snyder, Jr. in Titusville on January 27, 1968. He preceded her in death on August 16, 2001.
She was a graduate of St. Joseph's Academy.
Shirley worked at the Titusville Area Hospital for over 20 years.
She was a member of Hydetown Vol. Fire Dept. Aux. Bruce Shorts Post 5958 VFW, and the former Titusville PNA.
Shirley enjoyed playing bingo and cards and being with her family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Michele Ward and husband Larry of Saegertown, Kimberly Neely and husband Nick of Titusville, Tina Roberts and husband KJ of Waterford , Lori Budihas and husband Michael of Defuniak Springs; her grandchildren, Andrew Ward and wife Alkhansa of Tucson, AZ, Alicia Wishnok and husband Joe of Oil City, Ryan Ward and wife Katelyn of Clarksville, TN, Marissa Rhoades and husband Dustin of Ft. Drum, NY, Trey Neely of Michigan, Matthew Burrows and wife Elizabeth of Union City, Chad Burrows and wife Kate Lynn of Waterford, Alexis Spear and husband Trenton of Jackson, FL, Meson Budihas of DeFuniak Springs, FL; 14 grandchildren; great-grandchildren; a brother, Thomas Weaver and wife Carol of Titusville; sisters, Nancy Drusko of Titusville, and Sue Enright and husband Ronald of Titusville; a brother-in-law, Randy Miller of Mercer; and a three sisters-in-law, Jane Weaver of Pleasantville, Shirley Ann Proper and husband Ralph of Titusville, and Marian Drake of Enterprise; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Jim Burrows; granddaughter, Nichol Caldwell; two brothers, James Weaver and Jack Weaver; and a sister, Margaret "Peggy" Miller.
Visitation will be held at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home Inc., 303 N. Washington St. Titusville, on Thursday, February 13th from 4 to 6 p.m. at which time a funeral service will be conducted.
