Obituary

Skippy Ray “Skip” Baldwin, 60, of Pleasantville, passed away Friday, July 28, 2023 in Kanab, Utah shortly after he and his family had visited the Grand Canyon and Four Corners.

Skip was born on May 30, 1963 in Baltimore, MD, a son of the late Clyde and Lois McCauley Baldwin. He was married to Kathryn Byler on October 22, 1988 at the Breedtown Baptist Church.

Skip was a graduate of the Titusville Wesleyan Methodist Academy, class of 1981.  Skip had been employed at McDonalds in Titusville, was co-owner of the Titusville Laundry Center, and had last worked at Polk Center as a residential service aide until his retirement in 2021.

Skip was a member of the Titusville First Methodist Church. He enjoyed going to auctions and getting into his car and traveling. He enjoyed reading western novels and mostly spending time with his family.

Skip is survived by his wife Kathryn of Pleasantville; his children, Kai Baldwin and Kristie Baldwin, both of Titusville; his special niece Maddie Spinks; a brother, Clyde O. Baldwin, Jr. of Centerville and Ronald Baldwin of Titusville; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the First Methodist Church 302 W. Walnut St. Titusville, PA 16354 on Thursday, August 10, 2023 from 10 to 11 AM at which time a memorial service will be conducted with Rev. Larry Reitz officiating. The family suggests friends wear vacation shirts to the service which Skip would appreciate.

Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery in Pleasantville.
