A poem from his daughter:
Don't grieve for me for now I'm free.
I am following the path God has laid for me.
I took His hand as I heard His call.
I turned my back and left it all…
I could not stay another day,
To laugh, to love, to work or play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way,
For I am following the path of another day.
I know my parting has left a void,
But fill it with remembered joy.
   A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss:
Oh yes, these things, I too will miss.
My life's been full, I've savored much.
Good times, good friends, and my loved one's touch.
Lift your heart and share with me,
God wanted me now, He set me FREE…
                  Julia Kinney
