Steven E. Aultz

Steven E. Aultz, 71, of Spartansburg, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, April 11, 2024 at the Titusville Area Hospital.

Steve was born on December 23, 1952 in Lewistown, PA, a son of the late Robert and Sara Martin Aultz. He was married to Rhonda Knepp on September 18, 1976 in Lewistown, PA.

Steve was a graduate of Rothrock High School in McVeytown, PA. He was owner of Steve’s Sales and Service for sawmill equipment since 2005. He had previously been employed at Sparty Woods from 1976 to 1999 and at Ainsworth Corp. in Meadville from 1999 to 2004.

Steve was an avid hunter. He loved owning his business and was a workaholic. He enjoyed watching western movies. Steve and Rhonda had fostered many children over the years, many of them leaving a special place in their hearts.

Steve is survived by his wife Rhonda of Spartansburg; children, Steven Adam Aultz and wife Kate of Natick, MA, Matthew Aultz and wife Tonya of Meadville, Christopher Aultz and partner Dawn Ferry of Youngsville, and Candise Aultz and partner Aaron Barnes of Erie; grandchildren, Austin Aultz and fiancée Isis Fedodruk, Sarah Aultz, Lexie Aultz, and Addie Aultz; brothers, Robert Aultz and wife Joyce, Randy Aultz and wife Christine, and Mike Aultz; sisters, Sharon Taylor, Bonnie Dundon and husband Ken, Cindy Perschau, and Meloney Specht and husband John; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Steve was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Ava Aultz; and a sister, Lori Lehman.

No public visitation will be observed. 

A celebration of Steve's life will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024 from 2 to 4 PM at the Rometown Community Church 44364 Harrison Road Spartansburg, PA 16434 at which time a service will be conducted with Pastor Tim Harger officiating.
