Ted was born in New Kensington on February 17, 1939. He was raised by his mother, Regina Kubiak, and extended family, including his grandparents, Frank and Josephine Kubiak, as well as his aunt Cio cia Virginia and Violet Kubiak.
He later moved to Franklin and was a graduate of Franklin High School. While in high school, he competed in wrestling and football. After graduation, he proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. He entered the service on June 27, 1957, in Pittsburgh and was honorably discharged at Camp Lejeune, NC on May 4, 1959. While in the service, he was stationed in Okinawa, Japan.
Teddy met the love of his life, Linda Eason, in Titusville, and they were married on September 15, 1962.
He was a devout catholic and a member of St. Titus Church. He was also a Bruce Shorts Post 5958 VFW member and the former PNA Club.
For Teddy, family was the love of his life. We have truly been blessed to have had such an amazing man to guide, love, and protect us completely.
Football was his second love. He never missed a chance to cheer on his Steelers to victory. He was an avid golfer and bowler, participating in several leagues. If there was music, you could bet he'd be on the dance floor.
Ted is survived by his loving wife, Linda; three daughters, Cathy Sampson, Georgene Prenatt and husband Tim, and Theresa Anthony and husband Stuart; five grandchildren, Casey Feiereisen and husband Erik; Cortney Ratajaczak and husband Derek, Adam Prenatt and wife Steph, Bridget Prenatt, and Sara Anthony; eight great-grandchildren, Andie, Jackson, Owen, Brooklyn, Sawyer, Maisie, Bridgett, and Avery; a former son-in-law, Pat Sampson; his brother Frank Dubas and wife Tina and their daughters, Gina and Ellana; two sisters-in-law, Dara Kubiak and her sons, Bernie, Bryan, and Billy; and Jackie Brant and her daughter, Valgene.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 12th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Titus Church with Fr. Daniel Hoffman, officiating.
Interment will be at St. Catharines Cemetery. Full military honors will be observed.

He Only Takes the Best - God saw you getting tired And a cure was not to be So he put his arms around you and whispered, Come to me. With tearful eyes we watched you, And saw you pass away. And although we loved you dearly, We couldn't make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, Hard working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove us, He only takes the best.
If you love me, don't cry - If you knew the unfathomable mystery of heaven, where I am; if you could see and feel what I feel and see in these endless horizons, you would never weep for me. God's charm now absorbs me by his expressions of infinite beauty. We loved each other tenderly in life, but everything was fleeting and limited. I love the clear expectations of your arrival one day. Think of me this way. In your struggles, think of this beautiful dwelling where death does not exist and where, together, we live in the purest source of joy and love. If you truly love me, do not cry for me, I am at peace with God. Amen.
Prayer for the souls of the faithful departed - Padre Pio, aid the souls of our dearly departed. Be their comforter and intercede for them so they may enter heaven as soon as possible to praise the Lord forever. Padre Pio, we come to you in prayer. We plead with you to grant us grace so that the doors of the Holy City, that Heavenly Jerusalem, may be opened to the souls of dearly departed. The angels, all the saints, and the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Padre Pio, let them rest in peace. Amen.
