Theresa Casale

Theresa Willey Casale, 57, of Titusville passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh, surrounded by her loving family.

Theresa was born on December 2, 1966, in Titusville, a daughter of Earl B. and Roseanna Vroman Willey. She married Dominic Casale on December 21,1990, in Enterprise Alabama.

She was a graduate of Titusville High School, Class of 1984, participating in the Rockettes and Majorettes. She attended Carlow College of Pittsburgh and Clarion University, graduating with a degree in nursing.

Theresa worked as a Homehealth and Hospice nurse for 30 years and was truly loved by all her patients. She was awarded National Nurse of the Year, in 2018. She was a member of St. Mary Magdalene Church of Sharpsburg, GA, where she taught C.C.D.

Theresa spent a year as an exchange student studying in New Zealand after high school. She volunteered for disaster relief in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina for several months.

Theresa loved all animals, volunteering at her local shelters and finding forever homes for stray animals. She enjoyed spending time on her farm where she grew up, planting flowers and most of all, loving her family.

She is survived by her husband Dominic Casale of Newnan, GA; her son, Roger Casale of Titusville; her daughter, Mary Casale of Atlanta, GA; her brother, Earl G. Willey and wife Elizabeth of West Middlesex; three sisters, Christine Willey of Krum, TX, Kathleen Riggs and husband Michael of Harrisburg, IL, Lisa Harrington and husband Michael of Centerville; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Roseanna Willey.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 31st at 2 PM, at the Titusville Community Center, 714 E. Main Street, Titusville, PA 16354.
