Thomas J. "Tom" Hoban, of Titusville, was called home on Thursday, April 3, 2025. Tom was 95 years old, born on July 12, 1929, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Thomas J. Hoban and Josephine Weiland Hoban. On February 2, 1957, Tom married the love of his life and his angel, Charlotte (Hebets) Hoban at St. Titus Church, and they enjoyed 68 years of wedded bliss from beginning to end.
Tom served in the United States Air Force from 1948 to 1952 and retired from Cytemp Specialty Steel Company after working there for over 30 years. Tom was very loved by all who knew him and will be remembered for his kindness, his laughter, and his love of knowledge.
Tom enjoyed long walks in the woods, fishing and tinkering with electronics. He was very musically talented, he loved to play the guitar, harmonica and sing. He was very family focused, putting those he loved before himself.
In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his siblings; Elizabeth "Betty" Mitchell, Mary Laskos, Edward Hoban, and Eleanor Ames.
Tom is survived by his loving wife and six daughters, Sue Hoban, Beverly Carpenter, Shirley Tenney, Joyce Roberts and husband Robin, Barbara Kelly, and Jill Flinspach; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews who lovingly remember him as Uncle T.
Pursuant to his wishes, no services will be observed. His only request is that if you knew him, please remember the good times, the laughter, and the love.
