Tyler Leroy David Bean, 23, of Titusville, passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2025, due to injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
Tyler was born on July 3, 2001, in Franklin to Chad and Laura Bean, who survive.
He graduated with honors from Titusville High School in 2020 and worked as a machinist for Millcraft SMS Services in Oil City.
A lover of the outdoors, Tyler was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a true motorcyclist and ATV enthusiast who loved nothing more than taking his "toys" out for a ride, chasing adventure wherever the open road or trail might lead.
Tyler made every moment count, whether it was casting a line, revving up his bike and popping wheelies, or sharing stories and laughter around a fire with his closest friends.
Hardworking with a steadfast tenacity, Tyler was always taking on new projects, never shying away from a task that needed doing. More than anything, he will be remembered for his willingness to always lend a helping hand.
Tyler will be deeply missed, but his spirit will ride on in every sunset and winding road.
In addition to his parents, Tyler is survived by his siblings, Jayden and Emma; paternal grandparents, Gail and Char Bean; maternal grandmother, Cynthia McElroy; big uncle Mike McElroy; little uncle Mike McElroy and wife Britteney; uncle Andy McElroy and fiancé Stephanie; uncle Jason Bean and Darcey; uncle Shawn Bean and wife Melissa; his dog, Waylon; and numerous cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Richard "Poppy Rick" Lawson.
Visitation will be held at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home Inc., 303 N. Washington St., Titusville, on Wednesday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted from the funeral home on Thursday at 11 a.m.
A live stream of the service can be viewed on Tyler's tribute page at garrettfuneralhomeinc.com
Memorial contributions can be made to the Titusville Alumni Office, 302 W. Walnut St., Titusville, PA 16354, for a scholarship that will be set up in Tyler's name. The scholarship will be for the outdoor clubs throughout the Titusville Area School District.
