Van A Nester

Van A. Nester, Sr. of Pleasantville, passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at his residence after a brief illness.

Van was born on July 11, 1958, to the late Van C. Nester, and Helen L. Kope Sines.
He was a graduate of Titusville High School.

Van worked in the Oil Fields while living in Pennsylvania and moved houses for several years in Florida.

He enjoyed motorcycles, working in the garage, and had the ability to fix anything. He had many friends and was always willing to give helpful advice to anyone who needed it. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them especially his grandchildren.

Van is survived by his son Van Nester, Jr. of Titusville; daughters, Arriona Brown and companion Will of Titusville, and Fireray Nester of Titusville; grandchildren; Hannah, Lyric, Acelynn, Aria, Sylvia, and Oaklynn; two brothers, Daryl Nester of Pleasantville, and Monte Nester and wife Lauri of Grand Valley; his ex-wife Lynette Brandon of Titusville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Marla Caldwell.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at the Breedtown Baptist Church at noon, with Pastor Shawn Johnson, officiating.
