William L. "Bill" Bromley, 79, of Titusville, passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2024, at the Titusville Area Hospital.
Bill was born on April 16, 1945, in Titusville to the late Norman and Gladys Bromley. He married Carol A. Rodgers on October 13, 1966, in Hagerstown, MD. She preceded him in death on February 5, 2020.
Bill was a graduate of Townville High School, Class of 1963. He was a veteran having served in the United States Navy from 1964 to 1968. Bill served as a Signalman on the USS McCaffery.
He worked as a machinist at Joy Manufacturing for over 30 years until his retirement.
Bill enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, and fishing, and he loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by three children, Bruce Bromley of Pleasantville, Curt Bromley and wife Kristy of Pink Hill, NC, and Mindy Armatas and husband James Jr. of Titusville; seven grandchildren, Kiersten Bromley, Ashley Wesley and husband Jeffery Michael, Jordan Adams and husband Christopher, Matthew Bromley, James Armatas III, and Tyler Bromley; 5 great-grandchildren, Madelynn, Charles , and Addison Wesley, and Wyatt and Elinor Adams; a sister Barbara Antill of Tennessee; a brother Roger Bromley and wife Sandy of New York; and a sister-in-law Irene Bromley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Bill was preceded in death by his three brothers, Norman "Rick", Lawrence and Jim Bromley; and three sisters Merlette, Betty, Nancy.
