William Morris Obituary
William A. "Bill" Morris, 80, formerly of Spartanburg, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2024, at SharePoint Health and Rehab Center in Port Charlotte, FL.
Bill was born on February 15, 1944, in Titusville to the late Alfred R. and Josephine E. Culver Morris. He married DeaAnna Grant on June 4, 1966, at Hydetown. She preceded him in death on July 2, 2021.
Bill was a graduate of Titusville High School.
He worked at Berenfield Containers in Warren for many years until his retirement.
Bill was a member of the Rometown Community Church.
Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing, farm life, and socializing with family and friends. He cherished his time at Rometown Community Church. He had a fondness for sweets, coffee, and Western movies. Most importantly, he treasured his wife, DeaAnna, and his family.
He is survived by four sons, Alan Morris and wife Kelly of Port Charlotte, FL, Rick Morris and wife Leane of Findlay, OH, William Morris and fiancé Errol Hodgson of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and Robert Morris of California; six grandchildren, Ryan Morris and wife Kayla of Arlington, VA, Cody Morris of Myrtle Beach, SC, Lauren Faure and fiancé Anthony Knisely of Port Charlotte, FL, Reagan Faure and fiancé Sgt. Travis Wisniewski of Killeen, TX , and Zach Morris and wife Emily of Cardington, OH, and Camaron Morris of Findlay OH; a sister Judy Huff of Corry; and one apple of his eye, his great granddaughter, Juliet Morris of Cardington,OH.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and grandson Connor Morris.
Visitation will be held at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home Inc. 303 N. Washington St. Titusville on Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted on Thursday from the funeral home at 10 a.m. with pastor Tim Harger officiating.
Interment will be at Union Cemetery.
