We are saddened to announce the death of William J. Oswald, 73, of Neiltown. He passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Bill was born on September 24, 1952, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late William A. and Millie Hughes Oswald.
Mr. Oswald was a truck driver his whole life, retiring from Vertical Seal in Neiltown.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and great uncle, he will truly be missed.
He is survived by his loving wife Laurie Oswald of Neiltown; his son, William A. Oswald and wife Danielle of Neiltown; his step son, Josh Coulter of Titusville; five grandchildren, Alexis Oswald, Cole McCauley, Izabella Coulter, Mitchell McCauley and Madyson Coulter; his sister, Joan Siford and husband John of Hampton; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
Bill enjoyed hunting with family and close friends. Rabbit hunting with his dog Willow and nephew Jack Siford. He enjoyed fishing on the Allegheny River on his boat with his wife, his son, and at times with his granddaughter Alexis. He liked to go on long rides during lent season for fish Fridays, with his son Billy. They were best friends and he was very proud of him and the rest of the family. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson and spending time with his family.
The family would like to thank Hospice of Crawford County for their compassion and kindness.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026, beginning at 2 PM, at 130 Evergreen Road, Pleasantville, PA 16341.
