William Rodgers Obituary

William J. "Bill" Rodgers, 81, of Titusville, passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2022, at his residence.

Bill was born on October 27, 1941, in Titusville to the late Ralph and Georgia Hartman Rodgers.

He attended Titusville schools.

Bill worked as an independent logger for many years until becoming disabled from a tree accident in the woods.

He liked riding four wheelers, berry picking, picking peaches and apples off fruit trees, and playing with the stray kittens, fawn, and racoons he rescued and cared for. He loved Elvis and collecting old country western records.

Bill is survived by his three children, William "Bill" Rodgers of Titusville, Brian Rodgers and wife Wendy of Independence, KS, and Tina Ward and husband Michael of Titusville; four grandchildren, Crystal Rodgers, Austin Rodgers, Alyssa Irwin and husband Nash of Titusville, and Nathaniel Ward and fiancé Makayla Morales; a great grandson Liam Irwin; a sister, Miranda Brooks and husband Paul of Athens, OH; a brother, Ronald ‶Bus″ Rodgers and wife Mary of Monett, Missouri; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Richard, Warren, Wayne, Charles, and Jack Rodgers; and four sisters, Karen Renninger, Carol Bromley, Donna Shepard, and Eileen Crowther.
