William and Elenita Ashley

The family of William and Elenita Ashley wishes to announce a Celebration of Life to be held on Saturday, July 20, 2024. They will be interned together at St. Catherine’s Cemetery at 1:00 p.m., followed by a luncheon at the Titusville Moose Club at approximately 2:00 p.m. The family will also be receiving guests at the family home at 320 East Main St. on Saturday afternoon, any time after 4:00 p.m.

The family invites all who knew Bill and Nita to stop by and share a memory or two with their extended family.  As they would have wanted, this will be a casual affair that focuses on the joy, kindness, and happiness that they brought to all who knew them. Because life is what you celebrate, all of it, even the end.  We are better for having them as our parents, grandparents, and great grandparents.  They provided unwavering love and support, not just for us, but also for the countless people who crossed paths with them. 

Bill and Elenita will be remembered for the kindness and compassion that they showed to those around them even when they themselves may have been suffering.  The greatest respect we can show them is to live our lives as they did, putting others first and bestowing kindness upon all we meet.  The world was a better place with them in it, and they would want all who knew them to remember them not with a tear, but with a smile and a laugh.  We hope you can join us.
